What should be checked when developing a dual-ended makeup brush?
Specify the role and dimensions of each head, usable grip clearance, balance, logo position and protection for both ends. Review the complete tool with its intended formula and packaging. BH32 provides a recorded eyebrow-and-spoolie example, not a fixed specification for every dual-ended design.

Give each end a specific job.
BH32 combines an angled eyebrow end with a spoolie. Define the application task for one end and the grooming task for the other, then evaluate them independently. A dual-ended format reduces the number of separate handles in a kit, but it still needs two usable working surfaces.
Keep head dimensions separate from grip dimensions.
The supplied BH32 drawing identifies both heads and the overall size, but does not state every usable grip dimension. If you need more finger clearance or a different balance, state that change in the brief and confirm it on the sample. Two head measurements alone are not enough to define the complete tool.
Check where the unused end goes.
Review the sample in the way your customer will hold, place and pack it. Assess whether the unused end touches the hand, a surface or the inside of a pouch. Protective caps or sleeves may be development options; their fit, clearance and ventilation must be checked rather than assumed from a visual concept.
Plan the logo and packaging around both ends.
Choose a logo position visible in the intended holding orientation. Ask for a physical packaging sample with the brush inserted. Check that neither head is compressed and that the user can remove and replace the tool without catching the bristles. The final protection method is part of the custom specification.
Review use and care before approving the format.
Use the intended brow product on a sample and assess control, comfort and residue removal under the agreed procedure. Record the condition of each head and both connections after the review. The supplied drawing is a size reference, not evidence of a completed durability or hygiene test.
