How many brushes should a private-label set contain?
Choose the number after assigning an application role to each brush. A focused everyday, travel or professional set needs a coherent mix, usable storage and a consistent finish; more pieces alone do not establish better value.

Start with the person who will use it.
Start with how your customers apply makeup: the products they use, the steps in their routine and the results they want. Someone buying a brush as a collectible may still use it every day. Define the intended use rather than choosing specifications from age, occupation or country alone.
Assign a role to every brush.
List the tasks the set needs to cover before choosing the number of brushes. For each brush, identify its application area and intended formula. This helps you avoid including similar shapes without a clear purpose. Add your selections to the collection planner, then review the mix with us.
Connect the design to your brand.
Once you have chosen the brush mix, coordinate the handle shapes, colours, logo placement and packaging. For a themed or creator-led collection, use original artwork or artwork you have permission to use. Review appearance and application separately: an attractive design still needs to be tested as a physical sample.
Consider a collectible or gift format.
Some brush brands and retailers offer collectible or limited-edition designs. These examples can inform a gift or collector range, but they do not prove demand for a new collection. Focus on original details, documented craftsmanship and packaging that protects the brushes. Do not imply resale value or limited availability without evidence.
Include the order details in your brief.
To request a quote, include the intended customer, quantity per design, packaging, sales countries and target arrival date. State whether the quantity means individual brushes or complete sets. We review the minimum order and sampling requirements for your configuration. Before production, agree the head profiles, finishes, logos and quality criteria against the approved sample.
